The Office- Dwight Schrute Rules!

Dwight's cousin the Office, The office Dwight Cousin

One of the members of the cast of The Office  is Dwight Schrute. Dwight is one of the lead characters on the US show "The Office" and is one of the best characters of The Office. He works as a sales representative at the Scranton branch of paper distribution company Dunder Mifflin, often carrying out various tasks to assist his coworkers while simultaneously working towards his own personal interests.

Dwight Schrute was played by American actor Rainn Wilson for 9 seasons and 209 episodes of the show, from 2005-2013. Dwight Schrute first arrived on our screens in 2005 as a minor character. He was introduced at the end of the pilot episode as a salesman who would be working alongside Jim Halpert and Michael Scott.

In the early days of his appearance on The Office, Dwight was a side character who would perform menial tasks in order to appear useful and stand out among his coworkers. As the show progressed, however, a number of events would lead to a significant increase in screen time for Dwight.

One of the most notable was when Steve Carell left the show in 2011 after seven years on the series. When Michael Scott left Dunder Mifflin, Dwight was named acting manager for a few episodes during season 8 before being replaced by Andy Bernard.

Dwight Schrute is known for his obsessive work ethic, strong moral character, and general lack of common sense. Many jokes are made about his seemingly one-track mind and the fact that he is a constant source of bizarrely irrelevant or inappropriate comments.

Dwight Schrute lives on his family’s beet farm with his cousin, Mose. Dwight's cousin Mose is one of the most unique characters in The Office.  He is an iconic part of the show, and serves his purpose in the Dwight Shrute Family.

Retro City Threads has a Schrute Farms Beets custom basketball jersey.  This custom basketball jersey can be personalized with your name on the back, or you can leave it with the Schrute family name.

As a staple character from the first episode, Dwight has been at the center of many memorable scenes from "The Office": Some of his most notable feats include racing to secure a valuable parking space before all others and beating up coworker Jim Halpert after mistaking him for a member of the mafia.

Dwight frequently attempts to impress others with stories about how hard he works (and often fails to do so). He has a tendency to be quite aggressive and confrontational when challenged, as was seen during his many interactions with co-worker Jim.

We know many trivial details about his life and his relationships with other characters. We know where he lives, how old he is and what his parents do for a living. His history is not simply restricted to interactions at the workplace; there are several flashbacks present in "The Office", many of which revolve around Dwight's high school years (which further highlight his immaturity).

Dwight's character on The Office remains a constant source of entertainment even after nine seasons and has become synonymous with the show itself. His actions capture the attention of viewers and make them question why Dwight does certain things.  He often leaves them in stitches from laughing at his unintentionally hilarious comments and actions.

All of The Office characters are quirky and entertaining, but Dwight Schrute is truly a fan favorite.  If you’re not a Dwight fan, but you love The Office, Retro City Threads also has a Dunder Mifflin custom hockey jersey and a Scranton Branch baseball jersey.
